22yr Old Saskatoon Man Charged After Driving In Wrong Lane With Stolen Truck

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged after fleeing from Saskatoon police in a stolen truck last night.

Just before midnight Tuesday night, police saw a Ford F350 driving erratically near Highway 14. When officers tried to stop the truck, it swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic.

Officers then stopped their pursuit and let the Air Support Unit track the vehicle.

The driver of the truck eventually parked in the 1100 block of Avenue O S. and ran away. He was caught shortly afterward.

The man has been charged with evading police, dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of crystal meth.

This is the third time this week that police have laid charges in connection with a stolen vehicle evading police.
