Saskatoon police have taken several people into custody as police investigate report of unlawful confinement and assault

Saskatoon police have taken several people into custody at a home where a man was allegedly confined and assaulted.

At noon on Tuesday, police received a report about a man seeking treatment for non-life threatening injuries at Royal University Hospital.

Upon investigating, police were led to a house at Avenue G and 17th Street where they found several people inside. Officers took them into custody and are conducting interviews.

No charges have been laid, but they are pending, police said.
