This change will restore my faith in our collective humanity and save the lives of children affected by wars all over the world.
Dear leaders of the world,
It saddens me deeply to know that our children are suffering from wars that they are innocent of. For too long, you our leaders, have spent so much time, money and resources fighting unnecessary wars, but have spent little to no resources on building institutions that promote peace and harmony amongst us. Our children in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan, the North of Nigeria… etc., have suffered greatly and for this reason, I have decided to write this letter.
I cannot imagine how life is in any of the above-mentioned countries and others facing wars at the moment. I know that the desperation and level of suffering will be unbearable, to say the least. Hell has become not just a fairy tale but a reality for many of them and because of this, I can no longer stand idly by while they suffer. Consequently, I am dedicating myself to anti-war causes and I hope to find ways to inspire support so as to end future wars.
NOBODY should have to experience this, talk less of our kids who are the future of the world. I understand that this problem has persisted for ages now, but it is high time we find concrete solutions and stop pointing fingers. Thus, hard questions need to be asked and answered by you and your constituents to get things back on the track of righteousness.
You, our leaders, have consistently failed us on so many levels and sometimes to not deserve to be called leaders. Our children are the most vulnerable of us all and do not deserve to be bombed into oblivion. My conscience will not rest until they are safe, sound, and at peace in their various communities. As such, you must do more in terms of nation building and not find more innovative ways to instigate hatred which inevitably leads to frustration and then wars.
I know it is not an easy proposition to ask you to retreat on geopolitical ambitions, particularly since you have sacrificed so much in the process. But, sometimes we have to look beyond our interest to do what is right.
Evil organizations that advocate for the destruction of lives, property and/or civilization must be labeled enemies of the world and eradicated in a concerted manner by all parties willing and able to act. The dignity of our children is at stake and everything must be on the table to tackle this menace.
Thank you for your time. I hope you assign some urgency to this letter.
Remain blessed and may the soul of all the departed rest in peace. Amen.
