Saskatoon Man tries to rob Saskatoon business with rifle

Saskatoon police say a man pointed a rifle while trying to rob a business early Monday morning.

Saskatoon police are searching for a man who pointed a rifle at an employee while trying to rob a business early Monday morning.

Just after midnight, a man came into a business on the 1600 block of 11th Street W. armed and demanded cash.

He was wearing a yellow bag over his head down to his nose and a navy blue jacket.

The man wasn’t able to take any money and escaped in a beige/grey two-tone SUV.

The suspect is believed to be around 50 years old, 200 pounds with a salt and pepper beard.

No one was hurt and no shots were fired.

The investigation is ongoing.
